February 12th, 2012 | Posted by tookerm in Issue 1 (Feb 2012) | Multimedia

Renée Beaucheane is an all-around artist, her background is in fine art; drawing, painting and 3-dimensional fine-art.  As time progressed, she developed an interest in design and Graphics, Interiors and Web Design became a big part of her life.  As a related hobby she began to take an interest in Photography.  She prides herself in taking photos, with minimal equipment, of natural scenes and objects that catch her eye. She tries to see the world in a new way by focusing on detail and imagery that is not in and of itself new but made new by honing in on the inherent beauty of the detail and textures that one might see every day and pass by without another look…Renée takes that second look, she captures the novelty of an object by seeing with new eyes the grain of the wood , the patterns in the sand or the way the sun casts its shadows and makes the viewer see that there is a lot more to the typical landscape than the traditional photo.
