The Spring semester has officially begun. Winter break was very relaxing, but now it is time to crack down and hit the books! This semester is going to be a busy one. I am taking 18 credits ( 5 classes, 2 labs ) and aside from that, I started a new job at the mall a few minutes off campus. Although my schedule is packed very tight, I have a good feeling about classes this semester. I have gotten much more used to college life and luckily I have some of the same professors. For example, this morning I had Chemistry 112 with Dr. Curotto. The class is a continuation from Chemistry 111 (also with Curotto), and therefore we picked right back up from where we left off in the textbook.
New semester = New beginning , so I made a small list of goals to accomplish in order to make the best of it!
1. Study hard and achieve a GPA of 3.7 or higher – a 3.5 is required for the 3+2 Forensic Science program, better to aim high!
2. Get to know more people around campus - there is an abundance of FYSAE students that have returned to good ol’ Glenside, this also concerns faculty and important figures that would be helpful to make connections with.
3. Get fit! – a healthy heart and body = a healthy brain
4. Save money – textbooks are expensive.. resist online shopping!!! (that was a big problem for me and my roommates last semester)
Good luck to all of you! More later.
