I’ve been here for two weeks now. I can’t even believe how in love I am in South Africa. Whenever I try to talk to my friends or family from home I practically overwhelm them with a chorus of THIS IS SO FUN, followed by the word AMAZING, over and over. But really, I was so nervous about coming here, across the world for five months, I’ve never really been anywhere (well Disney world), but this has been the best decision I’ve ever made.
As to not completely overwhelm you I comprised a list of initial reactions to South Africa.
The bugs maybe ten times bigger then they are back home, but at least the flowers are too.
Internet is a scarce gift.
I’ve never in my life been in the presence of such natural beauty.
The beauty of the plants, mountains, and sunshine make me want to put forth every effor to protect this earth, there is a whole in the ozone layer here.
It must be a speacial talent to be able to speak a click language.
This is the adventure of a lifetime I don’t want to miss a single experience.
